According to Bloomberg, cryptocurrency exchange Gemini stated that it has reduced headcount by approximately 30% cumulatively since the beginning of the year, with employee count down to around 445 people, and has introduced AI tools to improve efficiency; the company posted losses of approximately $585 million for the full year 2025, with fourth quarter revenue of around $60 million but expanding losses. Previously, it had announced layoffs of approximately 25% and exited the UK, EU, and Australian markets, while replacing multiple executives.
