What Is the Gate Futures Points System?

The Gate Futures Points System is a dedicated growth incentive program designed for users trading futures on Gate. As you trade perpetual futures, the system automatically calculates and awards Gate Futures Points based on genuine trading activity.

These points are not tokens and cannot be traded. Instead, they function as internal platform privileges, which you can later redeem for cash tokens, position experience vouchers, or other futures-related rewards.

Core Rules of the Gate Futures Points System

The Gate Futures Points System operates on several key principles:

  • Points are exclusive to futures trading users
  • Each point source is calculated independently
  • Points are calculated daily and distributed the following day
  • Abnormal trading behavior is not eligible for points

In other words, you do not need to sign up for any additional events. As long as you meet the requirements and participate in futures trading, you will automatically accumulate Gate Futures Points.

How Trading Volume Impacts Points Accumulation

Within the Gate Futures Points framework, trading volume is one of the primary sources of points. The system tracks your valid daily trading volume and allocates points according to tiered thresholds.

Please note the following:

  • Both opening and closing trades are counted
  • Both buy and sell volumes are included
  • The higher your trading volume, the more points you can earn
  • There is no cap on daily points earned

This tiered structure allows high-frequency and large-volume traders to continuously accumulate more Gate Futures Points, while also ensuring that small and mid-sized traders have opportunities to participate.

How Asset Balance Points Are Calculated

Beyond trading volume, the Gate Futures Points System also features an asset balance points mechanism. Each day, the system takes a snapshot of your USDT and BTC balances in your futures account and calculates their value in USD terms.

Different asset ranges qualify for fixed daily point rewards. For example:

  • Lower balance ranges earn basic points
  • Mid-range balances earn higher points
  • Large asset holders receive the highest fixed daily points

Note: Assets held in Earn or other wealth management accounts are not included in the Gate Futures Points balance snapshot.

How to Use and Redeem Gate Futures Points

The core value of Gate Futures Points lies in their practical applications. On the points page, you can use your points to:

  • Redeem cash tokens
  • Redeem futures position experience vouchers
  • Redeem futures trial funds
  • Participate in designated points activities

The required number of Gate Futures Points and the rules for each redemption option are displayed in real time on the platform page. Points are available for immediate use upon distribution, with no additional lock-up period.

Points Validity Period and Expiry Policy

Unlike many long-term points programs, Gate Futures Points have a clearly defined validity period. Each batch of points is valid only for a specific period from the date of issuance and will automatically expire once that period ends.

The system follows a “first to expire, first to use” rule:

  • Points earned earliest are used first
  • This helps you avoid losing benefits by missing the validity period
  • Encourages you to plan your redemptions strategically

For active futures traders, it is essential to check your points page regularly and use your points promptly.

Common Gate Futures Points Misconceptions for Beginners

Many new users develop the following misconceptions when first using the Gate Futures Points System:

  • Believing that points can be transferred or traded
  • Mistaking futures points for token assets
  • Overlooking the validity period and letting points expire
  • Assuming all trading activity qualifies for points

In reality, Gate Futures Points are an internal platform benefit. They cannot be transferred or traded off-platform, and all rules are governed by the official page.

AI-Native Settlement Layers: How United Stables Is Building the Next Financial Rail

Stablecoins were originally designed as dollar substitutes within exchanges, primarily used for asset pricing and trade settlement. As on-chain financial ecosystems have matured, their role has expanded beyond simple payments to include collateral assets, cross-chain liquidity mediums, and unified settlement units. In particular, as AI systems and automated agents begin to participate directly in economic activity, demand has risen sharply for programmable value units capable of instant settlement. This shift is pushing stablecoins toward the role of foundational financial infrastructure.

The ve(3,3) Flywheel Explained: How AERO Tokenomics Powers Aerodrome’s DeFi Economy

In the competition for DeFi liquidity, high-inflation mining alone is no longer enough to build lasting advantages. Aerodrome applies the ve(3,3) economic model to redesign token emissions, voting mechanisms, and revenue distribution, creating a liquidity flywheel centered on governance and cash flow. This article examines AERO tokenomics, the veAERO locking mechanism, and protocol revenue models to explain how Aerodrome builds a sustainable DeFi economic system.

Aerodrome Tokenomics: How ve(3,3) Powers Base's Most Profitable DEX

AERO is the native token of Aerodrome Finance, a core decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol in the Base ecosystem. It is primarily used for liquidity incentives and ecosystem operations. veAERO is a governance NFT that users receive by locking AERO, representing both voting power and the right to share protocol revenue. Through a dual track structure of AERO as a utility token and veAERO as a governance credential, Aerodrome separates liquidity usage value from long term governance power, allowing participants to act as liquidity providers, governance decision makers, and revenue sharers within the same system.

DePIN Identity Network and Real World Applications: How Humanity Protocol Brings on-chain Identity Into the Physical World

Most Web3 identity systems remain confined to on-chain environments and struggle to achieve meaningful adoption in real world settings. Through a DePIN architecture and physical verification hardware, Humanity Protocol aims to bring decentralized identity into access control systems, hospitality, public services, and offline events, allowing on-chain identity to function not just as a digital credential, but as foundational infrastructure for real world access.

How is the price of PAXG determined? Pegging mechanism, trading depth, and influencing factors

PAXG (Pax Gold) is a tokenized asset backed by physical gold reserves, launched by fintech firm Paxos and issued as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. The core concept is to digitally represent real-world gold assets, allowing investors to hold and trade gold via the blockchain network. Because each PAXG token corresponds to a specific quantity of physical gold, its price is theoretically expected to closely track the global gold market.

Aster vs Hyperliquid: Which Perp DEX Will Prevail?

Aster and Hyperliquid are the two representative protocols of the "purpose-built L1 path" within the current decentralized perpetual exchange (Perp DEX) sector. As a pioneer in the field, Hyperliquid has built a deep liquidity moat through its highly mature order book architecture and strong community consensus. Conversely, Aster, as a rising challenger, seeks to leapfrog the competition in high-performance trading through more aggressive multi-chain aggregation logic, private transaction modules, and an underlying execution environment optimized for 2026 market demands.
