The publicly listed company with the largest holdings of Ether worldwide, Bitmine Immersion (Stock Code: BMNR), announced that last week it added another 35,268 ETH, bringing its total holdings to over 4.2 million ETH.
According to the statement, as of January 30, Bitmine held a total of 4,203,036 ETH, valued at approximately $12.8 billion, accounting for 3.5% of the total circulating supply of ETH.
In addition to ETH, Bitmine also holds 193 Bitcoin, $22 million worth of Eightco equity, and $9.79 billion in cash, with total assets of about $14.5 billion.
On the other hand, Bitmine has currently staked 1.83 million ETH, an increase of 580,000 ETH from the previous week, representing about 43% of its total holdings. Chairman Tom Lee stated that Bitmine is the single largest institutional staker of ETH globally, and once fully deployed, it is expected to generate over $370 million in staking rewards annually.
Bitmine also revealed that at the shareholder meeting on January 15, a proposal to “increase authorized shares” was approved with 81% of the votes, meaning Bitmine will have more ammunition to continue buying coins.
