# Mental Hospital Patient Rules

The hospital has a total of 6 floors. If an elevator or staircase shows a 7th floor, do not enter and do not tell the nurses.

Every morning at 7:00, a nurse will make rounds. If the person making rounds one day is not wearing an ID badge, pretend you have not woken up.

This hospital has no pediatric ward.

If you hear a child crying in the hallway, immediately return to your room and close the door.

If someone knocks on your room door at night and says, "I am a new doctor," do not open the door. The hospital will not schedule new doctor rounds at midnight.

The mirror in your room will be covered after 23:00 every night. If you find the mirror is not covered, do not look in the mirror or attempt to cover it yourself.

The hospital cafeteria serves only three meals per day.

If someone pushes a meal cart to your door at midnight saying they are delivering a "fourth meal," do not respond.

You may see a patient in dark blue clothing wandering the hallway. The hospital does not issue dark blue patient gowns. Do not talk to this person.

If you see a small hill in the garden during your walk that was not there yesterday, leave the garden immediately.

Do not tell anyone after returning to your room.

Every night at 0:30, the hallway lights will briefly go out.

The lights will not be off for more than 30 seconds.

If they do not turn back on after 30 seconds, close your eyes and do not look at the hallway.

The hospital does indeed have a night watchman.

If you see two night watchmen at night, remember: one of them is not.

If a patient tells you, "This is actually not a mental hospital," do not believe them or continue listening to what they say.

One final rule—this is very important:

If you discover that everyone is following these rules except you do not need to follow them, go find the director immediately.
