According to Coin界 News, as reported by crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, Cynthia Lummis, chair of the Senate Banking Committee's Digital Assets Subcommittee and Republican senator, has made a statement on the latest progress of the Clarity Act. Lummis stated that the bill will complete its legislative advancement before the end of this year, with firm language. She also revealed that the Republican side of the Senate Banking Committee plans to launch the bill markup procedure in late April following the Easter recess. Regarding the yield issue, Lummis indicated that a solution has been essentially reached. On negotiations related to decentralized finance (DeFi) provisions, she also expressed that relevant disputes have been properly addressed.
