Gu Jingci: 3.21 Bitcoin/Ethereum Operating Strategy with Market Analysis

Bitcoin/Ethereum's short positions during the previous high-level decline, as repeatedly reminded, have perfectly traced down to around 68,800 and 2,100 as expected. Since the decline, yesterday's multiple reminders indicated the current market is in a sideways consolidation phase, and simultaneously reminded that high selling and low buying can capture multiple waves with visible profits. Overall, Ethereum has at least 300-400 points of upside potential. Currently on the K-line chart, the 4-hour graph shows narrow-range consolidation within a channel recently. The K-line bodies are small, indicating the market is in a consolidation state with relatively balanced forces between bulls and bears, lacking clear directional movement.

The daily chart shows a volume-driven decline from the highs, with recent K-line bodies shrinking and declining momentum weakening, though the overall downtrend persists. On technical indicators, the 4-hour MACD's DIF and DEA lines are both running below the zero axis, with the DIF line below the DEA line. However, the absolute value of negative MACD histogram bars is converging, indicating bearish momentum is weakening, which may signal a potential slowdown in the downtrend or a rebound in the short term. This consolidation also suggests a new trend is forming. Over the weekend today and tomorrow, pay attention to the weekly-level closing, and once weakness continues, there is further downside space for the market.

Operating Suggestions: Bitcoin short at 71,000 to 71,500 nearby, target 68,500 to 69,500 nearby; Ethereum short at 2,160 to 2,180 nearby, target 2,050 to 2,100 nearby. In case of breakdown, continue watching 67,000 and 1,980 levels.
