In terms of trading types, it supports Spot, Cross Margin, and USDT-M Perpetual Futures.
In terms of leverage, it supports up to 20x.
In terms of position mode, it supports one-way mode and hedge mode.
In terms of margin mode, it supports CrossEx margin mode and isolated margin mode: CrossEx Margin Mode: Uses USDT as a unified CrossEx margin for centralized risk control management, improving capital efficiency. 3. Which Currencies Transfer Are Supported by CrossEx Account?
Transfers can be made both internally within the CrossEx Account and between the CrossEx and Unified Accounts. The following assets are currently supported for transfers: USDT, BTC, ETH, XRP, BNB, SOL, TRX, DOGE, ADA, SUI, AVAX, LTC, DOT. 5. How to Distinguish Assets in a CrossEx Account?
- When assets in a CrossEx Account are located on different exchanges, the symbol will carry the identifier of the specific exchange, such as BINANCE_FUTURE_ADA_USDT or OKX_FUTURE_ADA_USDT.
- When USDT serves as the unified CrossEx margin, the symbol will not carry an exchange identifier.
6. How to Trade on a CrossEx Account?
CrossEx Account only supports API trading.
You can query trading pair information via the endpoint /api/v4/crossx/rule/symbols. The returned symbol field identifies the corresponding exchange and market type (e.g.,
BINANCE_FUTURE_ADA_USDT or OKX_FUTURE_ADA_USDT). Only assets matching the symbol can be traded in the corresponding exchange's market. For details, refer to the CrossEx API documentation.
7. How Are the Fund Transfer Fees Charged?
For transfers between different exchanges within a CrossEx Account or between the Unified Account and CrossEx Account, Gate charges fees according to the on-chain fee standards of that exchange, without additional on-chain fees. The following two types are internal off-chain transfers and incur no fees:
- USDT transfers under all modes
- Transfers between the Unified Account and the Gate portion of the CrossEx Account under all modes
8. How to Check Trading Fees?
CrossEx Account trading fees generally follow the Gate VIP fee rate standard, while also incorporating the fee rules and limits of the underlying exchanges. For higher Gate VIP tiers, there may be differences between CrossEx fees and standard Gate VIP fees. For specifics, refer to

9. Is It Necessary to Create API Keys and Subaccounts on Other Exchanges as Well?
No, assets in the CrossEx Account can be traded directly on other exchanges via the CrossEx API.
10. What Are the Differences Between Exchanges?
CrossEx is responsible for margin calculation, risk control rules, and the relay and distribution of API requests. Differences between exchanges mainly lie in parameter configurations, such as funding rates, order parameters, futures tiers, debt tiers, discount rates, collateral ratios, interest deductions, liquidation processes, etc.
11. Is There an Insurance Fund?
Yes, there is an insurance fund. A 2% liquidation fee is charged during the liquidation process. The balance of these liquidation fees is used to build the insurance fund to cover losses from liquidation deficits.
