Withdrawing Mexican Pesos (MXN) from your Medá account is a simple and secure process that lets you transfer funds directly to your Mexican bank account using the SPEI (Interbank Electronic Payments System). You can complete this process on either the mobile app or the web platform, giving you flexibility and convenience to manage withdrawals safely.
The mobile app withdrawal process is designed for ease of use and is accessible from anywhere, making it straightforward to withdraw money from your account in Mexico. To begin, open the app and navigate to the main menu, select [More], then choose [Withdraw Fiat]. This will take you directly to the fiat withdrawal options.
In the withdrawal section, choose Bank Transfer (SPEI) as your preferred method. SPEI is the standard for electronic transfers in Mexico, ensuring secure and efficient transactions between banks.
Before proceeding, the system will check if your CURP (Unique Population Registry Code) verification is complete. If you have not verified your CURP, you'll need to do so before continuing, as this is a mandatory regulatory requirement in Mexico. If you do not have a Medá account yet, the app will allow you to create one by tapping [Create a Medá Account].
To complete your withdrawal, you'll need to add your bank account details if this is your first time. The system only accepts CLABE accounts registered in your name, protecting the security and legitimacy of your transactions. CLABE (Standardized Bank Key) is an 18-digit code that uniquely identifies your bank account in Mexico's financial system.
Next, enter the exact MXN amount you wish to withdraw from your Medá account and tap [Order Preview] to review the transaction details. Before finalizing, confirm the order and complete all required security verifications. Withdrawals typically process within 1 to 3 business days, depending on your bank’s procedures.
The web platform provides a comprehensive way to manage MXN withdrawals from your computer, with an expanded and detailed interface. To start a withdrawal online, log into your account, go to the [Deposit] section, and select MXN as your currency.
On the web interface, you’ll find a [Withdraw] button in the upper right corner. Click this, select MXN as the currency, and choose [Bank Transfer (SPEI)] as your withdrawal method—just as you would on the mobile app.
CURP verification is also required here. This step is essential for complying with Mexican financial regulations and ensuring secure withdrawals. If you do not yet have a Medá account, click [Create a Medá Account] to open one.
Setting up your bank account is critical. If this is your first withdrawal, enter your complete bank details, specifically your CLABE. Only CLABE accounts under your name are accepted, which helps prevent fraud and ensures funds reach the correct recipient.
After your bank account is linked, enter the amount of MXN to withdraw and click [Order Preview] to review all transaction details. The last step is to confirm your order and complete the required security verification. Withdrawals process immediately after confirmation, typically completing in 1 to 3 business days.
Withdrawing Mexican Pesos from your Medá account is safe and well-structured, whether you use the mobile app or the web platform. Both options deliver the same security and features, so you can choose whichever suits your preferences for managing withdrawals in Mexico. The main requirements include verifying your CURP, creating a Medá account if you don’t have one, and registering a CLABE bank account in your name. SPEI ensures secure, efficient transfers, and processing usually takes 1 to 3 business days. This streamlined process makes managing MXN funds convenient and reliable, fully compliant with Mexican financial regulations and built for robust security.
