Vision (VSN) is an Ethereum-based token that supports staking and on-chain governance, aimed at unifying BEST and PAN, and promoting the expansion of Web3 applications.
What is VSN?
VSN, short for Vision, is a brand new cryptocurrency token designed to unify BEST from the Bitpanda ecosystem and PAN from the Pantos project. This token is built on the Ethereum ERC-20 standard, supports future expansion to a multi-chain ecosystem, and is managed and promoted by the Vision Web3 Foundation.
Why merge BEST and PAN?
The original BEST was the ecological points of the Bitpanda platform, while PAN is a token for a cross-chain communication protocol. The functions of the two were relatively dispersed, so the team decided to merge them into VSN to unify resources, enhance application value, and provide users with more features and liquidity.
The issuance and distribution mechanism of VSN
- Initial Total Supply: 4.2 billion VSN
- Redemption method: Users can exchange BEST and PAN for VSN at a fixed ratio.
- Circulation Ratio: Approximately 65% of VSN enters market circulation after redemption, while the remainder is used for rewards and ecological development.
What can VSN do?
- Staking Rewards: Users can stake VSN in the VSN DApp to earn yields, with an expected annualized return of 5% in the first year.
- On-chain governance: VSN holders can participate in voting through snapshot.org, for example, to decide on burn ratios, incentive budgets, etc.
These features not only make VSN a “functional token,” but also enable users to truly participate in the construction and decision-making of the project ecosystem.
Transaction and Usage Requirements
VSN can be freely traded on mainstream centralized exchanges (like Gate) and decentralized exchanges (like Uniswap). Users can manage it using wallets that support ERC-20 (like MetaMask).
Risk factors worth noting
Although VSN has a certain forward-looking quality in its mechanism design, it also faces the following risks:
