Don't build your next business empire with Vibe Coding; instead, achieve a workplace breakthrough by "forming a team alone."

Vibe Coding is not about developing products to compete for jobs, but about reconstructing personal workflows with AI. Its true value lies in freeing oneself from dependence, empowering thinking, and creating your own secret weapons, rather than pursuing commercialization or monetization. This article is based on an essay by Haotian, organized, translated, and written by Foresight News.

A friend asked me: “You study Vibe Coding every day, what amazing app have you made? Give me a link to see?” I smiled and didn’t give a link. Because this question itself is stuck in the old logic.

Most people’s understanding of Vibe Coding still stays at the tool level of “can write an app without understanding code.” They search for大量AI-generated code on the screen, still worry whether this thing can be delivered smoothly, and whether it can be monetized.

They are mistaken.

Vibe Coding is not about competing with seasoned product managers who have been in the industry for twenty years, nor about dreaming of becoming a super individual capable of rivaling Google’s empire, nor about rushing to launch products in the already red ocean SaaS market.

Honestly, I think very simply: Vibe Coding is just an AI-based reconstruction of “personal workflows.”

If you’re still confused about what a “finished product” is, consider these three reflections:

The greatest achievement is using AI to reconstruct your “social attributes”

In traditional workplace structures, what are we?

We are a “carrot pit.” You handle the front end, they handle the back end, product managers coordinate, and most of the time is wasted on friction costs of cross-department collaboration. When pushing a project, 90% of your energy is spent on communication, waiting, and aligning granularity.

But what is the essence of Vibe Coding? It’s “building a team alone.”

When you learn to command code with natural language, you no longer need to rely on engineers who can’t meet deadlines, no longer need to beg designers for graphics, and no longer waste most of your time on internal friction in cross-department collaboration.

You can use Vibe Coding to pre-visualize product designs, simulate front-end logic, and troubleshoot potential issues before business feedback from other departments, greatly improving inter-departmental collaboration efficiency.

So, in a more abstract sense, the biggest achievement of Vibe Coding is that you successfully free yourself from dependence on others.

Your workplace identity shifts from “T-shaped talent” to “super cluster,” and a versatile “screw” becomes the fastest depreciating asset in the Vibe Coding era.

You are no longer a part waiting for instructions; you become a closed-loop system. This sense of “self-sufficiency,” this “execution power” that can be immediately realized, is the “work” you should be most proud of.

Recursive evolution: awakening the “execution layer” of the brain with AI

Many people use AI just to “slack off,” and secretly at that, always feeling it’s unseemly, as if they are cheating students.

But in my logic, the core of Vibe Coding is to “arm” thinking with AI, using it to replace oneself in doing all the dirty and tiring work, but you still need to be the strategist and decision-maker, because you must always guard against AI losing control and causing extra systemic costs.

In the era of Vibe Coding, AI is like your tireless, all-knowing, all-powerful engineering team.

Old workflow: you have 10 points of inspiration, but 9 points are spent on code errors, environment setup, document lookup, and other trivialities, leaving only 1 point of成果.

New workflow: keep that 10 points of inspiration, and hand over the remaining 90 points of execution details to AI. I don’t know Python syntax? AI writes it. I don’t understand API documentation? AI reads it. I don’t even know what architecture to use? AI provides solutions, and I choose.

This is not just an efficiency boost, but a “quantum leap.”

In a more abstract sense, you can not only let AI do the work, but also let AI teach your AI ( commands, skills, prompts, guiding learning, etc. ), and after the work is done, let your AI help review and debug to deliver the optimal result.

Finally, you can strip away all the “how” and only focus on the “what” at a higher level.

In this process, AI is no longer just an external tool; it internalizes as a “co-processor” in my brain. Ultimately, AI can handle all boring, repetitive, brain-consuming “execution actions,” allowing me to shift my valuable brain bandwidth entirely to the most core “decision-making” and “aesthetics.”

Therefore, the ultimate goal of Vibe Coding is not about what code you write, but about how your thinking and AI resonate at high frequency.

You don’t need to deliver anything to the world; you only need to satisfy “yourself”

This is the cruelest, yet most realistic point.

Currently, 99% of Vibe Coding tutorials teach you how to make SaaS to earn money, how to become an independent developer super individual.

All I can say is, these are just inspiring motivational clichés. Don’t dream about it. In a mature industrial and commercial environment, good products require extremely complex pricing systems, distribution channels, compliance and risk control—these are games for geniuses, capital, and mature teams, not for ordinary people.

The biggest misconception for ordinary people is that, just starting out, they want to use AI to deliver something to others in exchange for applause or money.

I can only say, these belong to a small number of geniuses or anomalies. Most ordinary people can truly harvest the benefits of Vibe Coding through “internal growth.”

An automation script might never sell, and its interface might be ugly as hell, but it saves you 2 hours of report-making every day; a data analysis tool might be a mess of code, but it reveals signals in the stock or crypto markets that others can’t see.

Really, that’s enough.

For most people, Vibe Coding is not about becoming the next Peter-level ( solo millionaire, but about having a set of personalized, customized, and not only improving efficiency but also self-defense “secret weapons” in your current position, business, and life.

Finally, it’s important to emphasize that good products will naturally emerge, but they belong to a very few geniuses.

Most people can use Vibe Coding to make themselves stronger, no longer limited by technical barriers, no longer trapped in inefficient processes, and that alone is already worth being content.

So next time someone asks you: “What is your Vibe Coding work?”

You can confidently point to your head and say: “The work is right here.”
