BlockBeats News, March 5 — According to the Israel Defense Forces, from the evening of March 4 to the morning of March 5, Iran launched a total of three missile attacks on Israel, targeting Tel Aviv, Haifa, and multiple locations in central Israel. Air raid sirens sounded in Jerusalem and other areas. Hezbollah in Lebanon also launched rockets at northern Israel. No reports of casualties have been received so far.
On the evening of March 4, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office issued its first press release after the conflict. The Prime Minister’s spokesperson stated that Iran is launching multiple missile attacks against Israel daily, with several directly hitting residential areas. The statement said that Israel is currently conducting ongoing strikes against Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, aiming to eliminate the Iranian threat and fully disarm Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Additionally, the Israel Home Front Command announced that based on the latest assessment of the conflict, starting from March 5, the defense protocols will be adjusted. From 12:00 on March 5 to 20:00 on March 7, all regions will transition from “necessary activity level” to “limited activity level,” meaning the overall defense level has been lowered — schools remain closed, but under protective conditions, work and certain gatherings can be appropriately conducted.
