PANews March 6 News, Emirates Airlines announced that as the world’s largest international airline seeks to resume operations after a week-long suspension caused by airspace closures due to the Middle East conflict, full route operations are expected to resume in the coming days. In a statement on Friday, Emirates said that the resumption of commercial flights depends on the reopening of airspace and the fulfillment of all operational requirements. The airline stated that approximately 30,000 passengers were transported out of Dubai on Thursday. By March 7, Emirates will operate 106 daily round-trip flights to 83 destinations, accounting for nearly 60% of its route network. Due to retaliatory attacks by Iran that forced the UAE to close its airspace and caused minor structural damage to its hub—Dubai International Airport—this flagship Dubai airline had previously canceled thousands of flights.
