Gate News reports that on March 10, Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin treasury company Empery Digital sold 102 bitcoins at a price of $71,636 each last week, earning approximately $7.3 million for cash reserves and stock buybacks. This move comes as aggressive shareholders ATG Capital and Tice P. Brown submit director nominations to the company’s board, expressing dissatisfaction with the current management. Empery has previously used proceeds from Bitcoin sales to repurchase over 20 million shares and has stated plans to reduce its Bitcoin holdings as needed to fund future buybacks.
