AlphaTON Capital Acquires 60% Controlling Stake in GAMEE

Gate News reports that on March 19, Nasdaq-listed TON Treasury Company AlphaTON Capital announced that it has reached a final agreement to acquire a 60% stake in gaming platform GAMEE for up to $11 million, including a two-year performance-based additional payment. GAMEE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Animoca Brands, and its valuation in this transaction is $18 million. According to the terms of the acquisition agreement, AlphaTON Capital will take over the daily operations of GAMEE and establish a strategic alliance with Animoca Brands, while prohibiting Animoca Brands from acquiring a controlling stake in AlphaTON Capital within two years.
