Standard Chartered predicts: Solana may reach $500 by 2029, but its short-term performance may not match Ethereum.

Kendrick believes that Solana currently relies too heavily on Memecoin trading, and this dependence is not a sustainable growth driver. Although Solana has significant advantages in low fees and high throughput, its development of new use cases outside of Memecoin may take 2-3 years to mature. Therefore, Solana may underperform Ethereum in the next two to three years until more substantive application scenarios beyond Memecoin emerge in its ecosystem.
