The winter solstice is not the longest and hardest night of the year, but rather the starting point of the rise of yang energy.

Most people feel that with the weather so cold and the nights so long, whether it's the days or the positions in hand, they still have to fall for a while longer, with no end in sight.

To be honest, I used to think the same way. Watching the K-line lying still at the bottom, my heart is colder than the weather, always feeling that this "cold winter" will be unbearable.

But I recently realized a principle, which is actually an excellent psychological game signal.

In behavioral finance, there is a concept called "reflexivity"; often, the most desperate times are when the trend is quietly reversing.

After the Winter Solstice, although the daytime hasn't immediately lengthened, it is indeed increasing little by little. This is similar to those coins that are still lingering at the bottom, appearing stagnant, while the main force is secretly accumulating.

Morgan Housel, who understands cycles best, has also said that pessimists sound smart, but in the end, it's always the optimists who can see the signs of spring in winter that make the money.

So, don't just sigh; remember to eat some dumplings today to warm yourself up. No matter how long the market takes to recover, as long as you're still in the game, this is called "the first ray of sunshine."
