The new ambassador appointed by Trump, Mike Walz, directly "crashed the scene" at the United Nations headquarters.
He publicly posed a soul-searching question to the globalist elites of the United Nations.
If the United Nations were to legitimize an illegal "drug lord terrorist"…
and grant him the same treatment as democratically elected leaders…
then what exactly is this organization, the United Nations, supposed to be?
Walz is referring to Maduro of Venezuela.
After the highly controversial 2024 election, over 50 countries refused to recognize Maduro’s legitimacy.
Including the United States, the European Union, and many Latin American neighbors.
Why?
Because everyone has their own yardstick.
This raises a deeper question.
The United Nations, born from the ruins of World War II, was originally created to maintain peace and the dignity of sovereign nations.
But now, it seems increasingly like a bureaucratic institution out of touch with reality.
A "legitimacy" rubber stamp that can be arbitrarily stamped on anyone, as long as it benefits certain groups?
Is the will expressed by the people through votes not more important than resolutions made behind closed doors?
It seems Trump sending Walz is not about diplomatic handshakes.
But about correcting a giant that is veering off course.
