#DAO治理 I’ve been a bit confused recently by the Aave DAO controversy. It seems like everyone is discussing profit sharing, founder token purchases, and so on, but I actually don’t quite understand what DAO governance is all about? 🤔
After reading some information, I finally got a rough idea: it turns out Aave DAO earned $140 million this year, and this money is completely controlled by AAVE holders. Feels like this is what they call "decentralization," right? Founder Stani also openly admitted that communication was not sufficient before, and I think that attitude is pretty commendable.
But this also made me realize a question — I don’t even understand the basic DAO voting process. Why do some decisions cause controversy? Can all token holders participate in voting? How is voting weight calculated? And where exactly are the treasury funds used?
It seems like this is the "normal tension" in DAO governance — everyone shares their opinions, and in the end, they seek common ground while respecting differences. Although I still don’t quite grasp the entire logical chain, this transparent discussion environment seems pretty good, much better than the traditional black-box financial operations 😌
Can someone explain the core logic of DAO voting to a newbie? I feel like this is especially important for understanding the future project trends!
