Weex has never been stingy with rewards. The total prize pool for this event is 1,880,000 USDT, with rewards including USDT, cloud points, top-tier toolkits, and WXT tokens.

The core is to do one thing: truly apply AI to decentralized trading. Brother Qiang believes that leveraging AI and tools is itself the trend in trading!

The competition adopts a two-round format, from qualifiers to finals. The qualifiers are divided into early bird and fork entry groups, each with 8–10 BUIDL teams. Each BUIDL is allocated 1,000 USDT for the competition, running live trading strategies with AI.

Let me explain the differences:
The early bird group runs for 3 weeks, and the top 2 accounts in each group advance to the finals; the fork entry runs for 2 weeks, and the top account in each group advances. Ultimately, it’s all about account balance rankings—those who earn more go to the finals.

Participants can be individuals, companies, or academic/research teams, and anyone worldwide can join.

Each team has 1–5 people, and each person can only join one team. However, individuals or organizations with a record of financial or fraud violations, as well as WEEX or partner personnel, are not allowed to participate (the official emphasizes fairness and also fears cheating and insider trading).

Registration must be done through the official website, requiring WEEX UID and KYC, and submission of a strategy explanation document detailing trading logic and rules; also, an AI participation explanation, clarifying what AI or ML specifically did in the strategy; plus code or architecture verification, which must be submitted via public repositories like GitHub. Only after passing the review can you access WEEX’s data and API permissions.

It’s especially important to note that API connection testing and AI log uploads are mandatory. Failure to complete these will result in disqualification.

All participating teams must successfully pass the API connection test and submit valid AI logs. Teams that do not submit effective AI logs will have no scores and may even be disqualified.

Judging is based on a combination of expert review and community popularity, focusing mainly on technical quality and AI depth, while also considering innovation and community engagement.

There are also clear restrictions on trading rules: maximum leverage is 20x, gambling-style trading is strictly prohibited, and at least 10 trades must be completed to prevent “lying flat and not trading.”

The organizers hope developers and teams will directly use WEEX’s data, technology, and infrastructure to truly implement AI into decentralized trading scenarios, focusing on smarter algorithmic trading, more reliable risk management, and more practical financial intelligent tools.
