The yield trading protocol Pendle announces the launch of a token economy upgrade, which will officially introduce the sPENDLE mechanism while deprecating the existing vePENDLE system.

This upgrade offers PENDLE holders a better way to participate in the ecosystem. The upgraded token model has two core features: first, the protocol-generated revenue will be directly used for market repurchase of PENDLE tokens, which will then be distributed to active sPENDLE holders; second, the newly launched sPENDLE will support deployment across 14 blockchains.

This means that ecosystem participants can participate in yield distribution more flexibly in a multi-chain environment, while the repurchase mechanism enhances the token’s scarcity expectations. This upgrade reflects Pendle’s redesign for sustainable ecosystem development and user incentives.

Wait, is vePENDLE directly stopped? What about the people who locked in before?

Pendle's buyback mechanism this time is interesting, it seems like they want to support the project.

14 chains deployed, probably just worried about insufficient liquidity.

How was the name sPENDLE chosen? It doesn't seem much different.

Buyback dividends sound good, but can they really generate stable returns?

Pendle is playing tricks again, how long can they stick with this?

analyzed the tokenomics closely... buyback mechanism looks solid but ngl, need to verify the actual implementation code before trusting this. red flags if they're not transparent about smart contract details tbh

The buyback mechanism sounds good, but those vePENDLE folks are probably going to get cut.

The buyback mechanism is here, and holders can finally get rid of the vePENDLE setup.

Finally a change in leadership, multi-chain deployment shows dedication.

sPENDLE is simpler than vePENDLE; it depends on how it is executed moving forward.

Whether this buyback can truly boost the price depends on market response.

Pendle is serious about its work, unlike some projects that just talk big.

Multi-chain support is indeed a selling point, and liquidity is expected to improve.

This upgrade feels highly targeted, aimed at retaining major investors.

The buyback mechanism sounds good, but I wonder if vePENDLE holders will suffer significant losses.

Damn, finally stopped using vePENDLE. The lock-up period for this thing is really intense.

---

Deploy on 14 chains? Are they planning to let us have fun everywhere?

---

The buyback mechanism sounds good, but can it stop being just empty promises?

---

sPENDLE cross-chain deployment, finally no more being liquidated on a single chain.

---

Wait, what about the old vePENDLE? Just give it away for free?

---

Multi-chain yield distribution is indeed attractive, but I'm worried liquidity will be further fragmented.

---

Pendle is up to something again, looks like they want to push the price up forcefully.

---

Buyback + multi-chain, this combo punch is quite something.

---

By the way, how to convert between sPENDLE and vePENDLE? The details are very important.

---

I'm not surprised about stopping vePENDLE, just worried about being exploited again during the migration.

The buyback mechanism has always been the most straightforward positive signal. Let's wait and see if they really start pouring money in later.

The buyback mechanism is obvious from the start; this wave of Pendle really wants to get to work.
