This year at the beginning of the year, I almost decided not to attend conferences or speak at any events anymore. Seriously, I almost did.
It feels like for the past two years, all topics have been repeated over and over; the crypto world is indeed a bit boring right now.
Until last week, on the day of the Red Bull Racing team partner event.
Initially, I only intended to give a brief 5-minute overview of our collaboration last year and share the success story of the digital collection event “IN THE MOMENT” with other sponsors.
But the reality was like this:
🕒 Initially, they just said I only needed to speak for 2 minutes, I didn’t expect much
🔗 I intentionally aligned the presentation content with that morning’s sharing session to make it more relevant
😄 I also threw in some jokes I usually use ( to lighten the mood)
🗣️ Throughout, I used the simplest English, without technical terms or jargon
Unexpectedly, after it was over, several partners voluntarily approached me and said they really liked my presentation, feeling I conveyed it very well.
Of course, some of those comments might just be polite flattery. But they didn’t know, in fact, that feedback reignited my enthusiasm to keep speaking.
For many friends here, maybe they’re already a bit bored hearing me.
But for 94% of people worldwide who haven’t truly understood crypto, what I shared might be the first time they hear about crypto—like partners from finance, telecommunications, luxury goods, automotive, travel, hotels, lifestyle, consumer electronics from the Red Bull Racing team.
The road to mainstream adoption is still long, but moments like this will suddenly remind people: this is worth continuing.#JoinGateTradFitoWinGoldPack
