#稳定币市场与产品 Recently, a new concept has emerged—reserve-backed stablecoins🤔 Jupiter has just launched JupUSD, and it seems a bit different?
At first, I thought all stablecoins were similar, but I found out that 90% of its reserves are USDtb (supported by the BlackRock BUIDL fund), with an additional 10% in USDC liquidity buffers, which feels more "reliable." Moreover, it has undergone independent audits from three companies, making the process look quite professional.
The most surprising part is that it can be deeply integrated with Jupiter Lend, meaning it can be used directly for lending and leverage operations, unlike some stablecoins that can only sit in wallets. Although JupUSD itself doesn't generate yield (which is a bit unfortunate), participating in ecosystem activities still seems promising.
In the future, there are plans to gradually introduce USDe, which appears to be optimizing capital efficiency. I haven't fully understood the details, but this iterative approach sounds like a long-term consideration.
Can any experts explain the advantages of USDtb, USDe, and USDC? It feels like the "tricks" of stablecoins are becoming more and more diverse😅
