Bitcoin crashes below $86,500... Altcoins also tumble
Source: DigitalToday Original Title: Bitcoin Falls Below $86,500… Altcoins Also Plummet Original Link: https://www.digitaltoday.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=623778 The cryptocurrency market is experiencing renewed downward pressure. Bitcoin(BTC) is trading at $86,538, down 3.15% from the previous day. Bitcoin’s market dominance has slightly decreased to 52.75%, but it still leads the overall market trend.
Ethereum(ETH) has dropped sharply by 5.09% to $2,805, with the decline widening. Ripple(XRP) is at $1.83, down 4.45%, and Solana(SOL) has fallen by 6.58%, indicating widespread selling pressure across major altcoins. Binance Coin(BNB) also declined by 2.66% to $864, joining the bearish trend.
Market analysts suggest that the inability to sustain the limited rebound from the previous day has led to further correction. The increased decline in altcoins, especially Ethereum, reflects that investors’ risk-asset aversion remains strong.
Some assets showed defensive movements due to excessive declines. Tron(TRX) traded within a stable range, and some stablecoins and specific assets maintained relatively stable flows. However, these are considered insufficient to change the overall market sentiment.
Experts are paying attention to the fact that Bitcoin failed to hold the short-term support level of $88,000. Caution prevails, with many considering that further adjustments are possible in the near term, especially given the volatility in global financial markets.
