Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying hosted a routine press conference on the 12th. A reporter asked: The Amsterdam Enterprise Court in the Netherlands has ordered an investigation into semiconductor manufacturer ASML and upheld the suspension of the Chinese-born CEO of the company. What is China’s comment on this? Hua Chunying: The relevant Chinese authorities have repeatedly clarified their position on ASML, pointing out that the root cause of the issue is the improper administrative interference by the Dutch side in the company’s operations. China believes that the Dutch side should create favorable conditions for the company to resolve internal disputes as soon as possible and maintain the stability and smooth operation of the global semiconductor supply chain. China will continue to support Chinese enterprises in safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests. (Guo Shi Zhi Tong Che)
