Canadian residents are facing a new wave of cryptocurrency scams. Fraudsters are impersonating the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) by using their official logo to appear legitimate.
The scammers contact victims of previous crypto fraud and claim they can help recover lost funds. They then request additional payments, leading to a second round of financial losses.
Authorities warn the public to stay cautious, verify official communications, and never send funds to anyone promising crypto recovery.
