#CryptoMarketBouncesBack Bitcoin rose in line with the recovery in global markets following the implication by U.S. President Donald Trump that the Iran war could soon end.
BTC gained up to 3.4% in New York trading, reaching $69,523. Other major altcoins like Ethereum and Solana also followed the upward trend. In a phone interview with CBS News, Trump said that the operation against Iran is progressing faster than planned. This statement came on the 10th day of the Iran war, amid rising economic pressures as oil prices surpassed $100.
The Iran war had caused significant fluctuations in global markets. Especially the halt of tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most critical energy transit points, increased concerns over global oil supply and created market uncertainty.
