The US-Iran conflict is heating up these days,


Throughout history, countless earth-shattering events have occurred,
yet ordinary people ultimately cannot influence even the slightest bit.
Rather than worrying yourself sick about world affairs,
it's better to redirect your gaze inward,
and manage yourself first.

For ordinary people:
Read more of "Water Margin" and "The Golden Lotus"—
not to study the biographies and grand writings of great figures,
but to learn the survival tactics of street-level common folk;
study less the magnificent ambitions of heroes and legendary characters;
think more about how to solve tomorrow's meals,
how to fulfill your family responsibilities,
or how to contribute small value to society,
and worry less about international events happening on the other side of the globe;
keep your head down and walk steadily on solid ground,
raise your head to gaze at the sky less often,
having ambitions that exceed your abilities.
Look at the sky too long, and you might slip and take a hard fall!
