I forgot to mention one more thing about Chinese projects. Not all of them have this characteristic, but some show it very obviously.

They like to dump the price during Eastern time daytime and pump it during the evening, mainly harvesting Chinese retail investors, while pumping it for their foreign "masters." This is essentially about gaining foreign favor while harvesting domestic investors. It's quite normal, but it doesn't feel right. Chinese project teams have this vibe of being domineering in the domestic market but submissive internationally. Or maybe the servile mentality is too ingrained to change in the short term.
