From a cultural perspective, the internet has always faced a problem: digital memory is extremely fragile. Platform shutdowns, account bans, or server migrations can all result in content disappearing. @Permaweb_DAO's emergence has actually pioneered a new approach to digital culture preservation.

Permaweb is built on Arweave's permanent storage mechanism, where all uploaded data is preserved long-term by distributed nodes and protected against tampering through cryptographic mechanisms.

Permaweb DAO advances more content, applications, and knowledge into this permanent network through community collaboration, gradually forming a long-term accessible information system.

From my perspective, the significance of this model is actually quite profound. In the past, the internet was more like a constantly updating information stream, while Permaweb is attempting to transform the internet into a form of long-term digital memory.

If this structure continues to develop, many important contents in the future may be stored in this kind of permanent network, rather than relying on a single platform for preservation.
