My friend Xiaoj is in his 30s and still not married, constantly dating girls born after 2000.

I asked him why he wasn't considering marriage, and he said the girls he's dating are still young and not in a rush to get married.

Me: Then why don't you find a girl around your age? That way you could discuss marriage.

He rolled his eyes and told me that girls his age wouldn't look at him. Women in their 30s who would date working-class guys would have already gotten married. They're single in their 30s because their expectations are too high. Younger girls have lower standards and aren't in a rush to marry—as long as he provides emotional value and spends some money, they're willing to be in a relationship.

So are women in their 30s harder to manage than women in their 20s?
