Von der Leyen Pushes for Diplomatic Resolution of Iran Issue; EU Reaffirms Priority of Dialogue

Recently, European Commission President Von der Leyen reiterated that there is no shortcut to resolving the Iran nuclear issue, and that only through international negotiations and dialogue mechanisms can a long-term stable solution be found. This statement reflects the EU's consistent position in Middle Eastern geopolitics.

Von der Leyen pointed out that dialogue and cooperation are the fundamental way to break the deadlock. She believes that any unilateral sanctions or military actions would struggle to fundamentally resolve the issue and would instead easily escalate tensions and regional situations. In contrast, candid communication through diplomatic channels, establishing a foundation of mutual understanding and trust, can achieve a win-win outcome acceptable to all parties.

This viewpoint not only reflects the EU's commitment to international rules and multilateralism, but also demonstrates that in the complex context of international relations, peacefully resolving disputes requires patience and wisdom.
