If a woman in difficult financial circumstances treats extracting money from men or being kept as a stepping stone for self-improvement—like treating it as a startup project—and achieves success by getting out clean, remembering her original intention and reinventing herself to pursue a new and happy life, that's admirable.

But generally, it doesn't work out that way. Once accustomed to measuring relationships through money, where everything becomes a transaction, she will struggle to have normal communication with other men for the rest of her life and will be unable to enter into normal relationships.
