XRP Builds Pressure Below $1.50 — Breakout or Pullback Next?
Ripple is currently hovering around $1.49. It is staying close to its recent highs and looking rather solid. Even though it is struggling a bit to cross the $1.50 barrier right now, the overall trend looks healthy because the recent dips are not falling as low as they used to.
More everyday traders and larger institutions seem to be getting involved. We can see this clearly in the derivatives market. Open interest jumped from $2.38 billion earlier in the week to $2.71 billion, which tells us more people are participating and willing to take on some risk. When we see this kind of market expansion, it generally helps support further upward movement over the next few weeks.
Money flowing into spot ETFs is also backing up this positive outlook. Funds focused specifically on XRP have seen new money come in for five straight days, including about $11.87 million on Thursday alone. Total inflows have reached $1.26 billion, showing that larger institutional players are taking a steady interest and adding real strength to the market.
Looking at the charts, the coin has shifted from just moving sideways into a steady, controlled climb. It managed to build a very solid foundation between $1.28 and $1.32. Since early April, the price structure has been forming higher lows. The momentum signs are also looking much better, as the indicators are pointing up and suggesting that buyers are starting to take charge of the direction.
Right now, the main area to watch is the resistance zone sitting between $1.50 and $1.55. If the price can cleanly push through that wall and actually stay there, we will probably see it head toward the $1.60 to $1.67 range.
If it cannot break through and gets rejected here, the price might drop back down to the $1.40 or $1.37 area. But as long as it manages to stay above that $1.32 floor we mentioned earlier, the bigger picture still looks quite positive.
In simple terms, XRP is essentially consolidating right below a major barrier. Whatever happens next is going to be pretty decisive. We will either see it break through and continue its run, or take a brief step back before trying to push higher again.
