Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to two people familiar with the matter, SpaceX has agreed to acquire Cursor for more than $50 billion. Cursor is a fast-growing artificial intelligence startup focused on developing code-writing software. As SpaceX moves forward with this deal, it is also preparing for what could be one of the largest IPOs in history. Cursor was founded in 2022 and has raised more than $3 billion; at one point, it drew major attention as one of the fastest-growing AI startups. SpaceX previously said that Cursor has granted SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor for $60 billion, or alternatively, SpaceX could choose to pay $10 billion for the results of the collaboration.
