Just caught wind of something pretty interesting happening in the AI and crypto infrastructure space. MoonPay just rolled out what they're calling MoonPay Agents - basically non-custodial financial infrastructure built specifically for AI agents to operate autonomously.

Here's what caught my attention: AI agents can now manage their own wallets and execute transactions without needing constant human oversight. The setup is pretty straightforward too. You do a one-time KYC with MoonPay, fund the agent's wallet, and then the AI takes it from there. Once it's live, these agents can independently handle trades, swaps, and move funds around on their own.

What's notable here is the non-custodial angle. You're not handing your funds to some third party to manage - the infrastructure just enables the AI to operate autonomously while you maintain control. MoonPay is essentially removing friction from the entire process, from initial funding all the way through to fiat withdrawal.

This feels like a natural evolution as we see more AI agents entering the crypto ecosystem. The infrastructure to support autonomous financial operations has been missing, and MoonPay is filling that gap. Whether this becomes a standard tool or remains niche probably depends on how many AI projects actually need this level of autonomous capability. Curious to see how the market responds to this one.
