In 13 years—within the crypto industry—this really is a number that commands deep respect. How ruthless this circle is, anyone who has stayed long enough understands. How many platforms put on a show with hype and launch in a blaze of glory, only to quietly disappear, shut down, or close down without a sound after just a few days of excitement—going to zero overnight, being hit by hackers, or being shut off directly. I’ve seen way too many, too many. Don’t even talk about making it through round after round of bull and bear cycles—there are very few that can manage to stay stable and endure for one or two years peacefully.

The crypto industry has never lacked fairy tales of getting rich, and it has never lacked promises that sound too good to be true. What it lacks most are participants who can weather the storms and still stand firm—who don’t collapse and don’t run away. And Gate has simply stood here, steady and unshaken, for a full 13 years. I’ve been with Gate for almost 6 years too—watching it grow from green to mature. I’ve also seen it evolve from its early days, when the interface wasn’t quite refined and the functions weren’t fully developed, step by step into what it is today: it has been through one bull-and-bear cycle, witnessed the darkest moments of the market, seen BTC fall all the way down, seen the entire industry fall into silence, and watched people grow anxious and unsettled. Countless people left; countless platforms couldn’t hold on and closed their doors. But Gate has always kept its doors open and has never left behind any of the users here.

During those hardest days, the platform was still operating normally, trading normally, and making payouts normally. To be honest, these past few years I’ve complained and vented, and I’ve run into times when the system occasionally lagged or deposits took too long. But for all the complaining, for all the venting, my account has never been transferred elsewhere. Because I know the tricks of this industry all too well. What’s truly a platform that wants to keep going long-term is the one that lets you criticize, that can hear users’ voices, and that will resolve issues when problems arise.

In these 8 years, I also encountered ACH on Gate. Watching it rise and fall, experiencing surprises and periods of waiting—my heart is full of emotion, and I’m also thankful that I’ve kept myself on a reliable platform, standing by my choice.
