On December 13, Haitian gang attacks on civilians continued. As of 11 December, nearly 300 people had been killed and nearly 60 others had been kidnapped. The security situation in Haiti is grim and gangs are rampant. Large-scale violence broke out in the capital, Port-au-Prince's Sun district, on the 6th and 7th. According to the United Nations, 184 people died, including 127 elderly people.
