Mark Cuban has abandoned the issue of a meme coin after the LIBRA scandal.

The billionaire said that this market needs more transparency.

The decisive factor was the high-profile scandal surrounding the LIBRA coin, supported by Argentine President Javier Millay. Interestingly, Cuban previously proposed meme coins that would bring revenue to the US budget, but changed his position:

“A lot has to change in terms of transparency and, more importantly, fairness. I don’t want to participate in a game of musical chairs.”
