As of March 24, 2025, Litecoin (LTC) has now logged in to the built-in "Wallet" feature of Telegram. The @Wallet_tg account operated by the Toncoin team announced that the application has opened up Litecoin trading services for all Telegram users outside the United States. The Wallet team stated that currently, the transfer in and out functionality for Litecoin is not supported, but this service will be opened in the future.
As one of the largest instant messaging platforms in the world, Telegram's monthly active users have surpassed 1 billion. Its built-in cryptocurrency Wallet has over 100 million registered users, with rapid growth. Currently, the Wallet supports mainstream coins such as Bitcoin, Toncoin, USDT, and some game tokens, and more popular cryptocurrencies will be gradually integrated in the coming months. The early launch of Litecoin is a tribute to this historic and widely used veteran cryptocurrency project.
To celebrate the arrival of Litecoin, Telegram is launching a 7-day fee-free subscription event. Through the native Wallet, Telegram is focused on expanding the cryptocurrency ecosystem and will develop advanced features such as peer-to-peer trading in the future.
This integration of Litecoin with Telegram marks a significant step in the convergence of messaging apps with cryptocurrency. With the growing popularity of digital currencies, platforms such as Telegram are opening up new avenues for innovative solutions that not only enhance their service dimensions, but also promote the adoption of cryptocurrencies in everyday transactions.
