PANews, March 27 - According to Bloomberg, stablecoin issuer Tether will spend approximately 10 million euros to acquire a 30% stake in the Italian media company Be Water. Be Water includes podcast production company Chora Media, Will Media, and film production and distribution company Be Water Film.
This transaction is part of Tether’s recent investment spree, which has previously ventured into fields such as agriculture, AI, and brain-computer interfaces. Tether’s current USDT market capitalization is approximately $144 billion, primarily backed by high liquidity assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds.
