BlockBeats News: On March 16, Ethereum rebounded significantly today after a long time, surging nearly 8% in a single day and now trading at $2,260.49. Behind the strong rebound are simultaneous spot position increases by multiple overseas whales.
Leading the charge is Erik Voorhees, founder of ShapeShift and early Bitcoin supporter, who purchased 21,293 ETH at an average price of $2,091 over the past 6 days, valued at approximately $44.52 million.
Additionally, billΞ.eth, an early Ethereum builder and crypto whale, increased its holdings by 7,769 ETH in the past 3 hours.
Beyond notable whales, anonymous newly created addresses are also quietly accumulating. This includes a new address that withdrew 20,000 ETH from Coinbase at noon today, valued at approximately $44.83 million.
Another whale, 0x743d, spent 3.79 million USDT on the 14th to purchase 1,827 ETH again. Over the past 6 days, the whale has spent $24.79 million purchasing 11,985 ETH at an average price of $2,068.
