Trading is a game against yourself.
Only after years of trading do I understand that the real opponent is never the market, but yourself. Through countless cycles from profits to losses, from euphoria to panic, I gradually realized: the ceiling of trading is never technique, but mindset.
When I first touched leveraged trading, like most people, I was swept away by fantasies of "getting rich overnight." Seeing market fluctuations made me rush to place orders, fearing I'd miss opportunities; at the slightest loss, I'd panic and think about using heavy positions to recover, but the more rushed I got, the more mistakes I made—I liquidated three times in just one week, my account shrinking from its peak. Back then I always complained the market was merciless, not realizing it was my own mindset that had already collapsed.
The real turning point was learning to make peace with my emotions. I began to understand that stop-loss is not surrender, but respect for risk; holding positions is not greed, but trust in the trend. Facing the frustration of consecutive stop-losses, I forced myself to pause and review, not rushing to recover, but first adjusting my mindset before returning to the market; when profits felt inflated, I deliberately reduced trading frequency, avoiding heavy positions and aggressive moves—keeping the profits I'd already made was key.
The scariest thing in trading is never losses, but being controlled by emotions. Greed makes people ignore risk and blindly chase highs; fear makes people miss opportunities and exit prematurely. Those traders with long-term stable profits aren't lucky—they're able to stay clear-headed at all times, not swayed by the market's short-term fluctuations, and not defeated by their own human weaknesses.
Looking at it now, trading is like spiritual cultivation. Every order placed is a test of mindset; every profit or loss is a refinement of understanding. Don't dwell on individual gains and losses, don't rush for short-term profits—keep your core conviction, control your pace, and you can go further and longer in the market.
Remember: technique determines how fast you can go, mindset determines how far you can go. Only by cultivating the mind can you endure for the long term. $BTC $ETH #比特币站上七万美元
