Yesterday when I was having tea and chatting with Fox and Ace, we discussed how a truly capable trader must have experienced a 1-2 times total loss to really make it.
I really can't imagine it, and I've asked myself: if I went to zero, could I make as much money as I have now?
The answer is, I don't think I have the ability or energy to make a comeback anymore. Because I have this clear understanding of myself, that's exactly why I can preserve my current wealth.
I won't be able to get massively rich, but I also won't fall into poverty. At my current state, the annual interest alone is enough for me to eat, drink and have fun. Making small profits from US stocks and Hong Kong stocks, slowly accumulating wealth feels great.
Every time there's a black swan event, I stock up on BTC and US stock indices, making some swing trading profits feels really comfortable too!
