News Report (Reporter Wang Tuo, Li Jiahao): On February 26, Governor Liu Xiaotao met with Walmart China President and CEO Zhu Xiaojing in Nanjing.

Liu Xiaotao welcomed Zhu Xiaojing and her delegation, thanking Walmart for its long-term support of Jiangsu’s economic and social development. He said Jiangsu is a manufacturing powerhouse and a major consumer province. Walmart is the world’s largest retail chain, and the two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation and broad prospects. He hopes Walmart will leverage its global supply chain advantages, deepen connections with Jiangsu’s industrial and supply chains, and expand cooperation in live-streaming e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce. He also encourages investment in more quality operational entities and stores, promoting more Jiangsu products into procurement systems for higher-level win-win development. Jiangsu will continue to create a first-class business environment, strengthen transportation and logistics support, and help companies grow and thrive in the province.

Vice Governor Zhao Yan, Nanjing Mayor Li Zhongjun, and Provincial Government Secretary-General Zhao Jianjun attended the meeting.
