According to MegaETH’s announcement on April 30, the Layer-2 network introduced a gradual MEGA token unlock model tied to ecosystem milestones. Token distributions will occur progressively as the network achieves predefined benchmarks, with users receiving rewards linked to these targets to encourage ecosystem participation and long-term engagement.
The project stated that all tokens will be distributed to users by 7am ET, according to an official social media post. The milestone-driven approach is designed to reduce token supply pressure while promoting sustained participation across the MegaETH ecosystem.
