Many Chinese parents push their children entirely onto schools and society, as if that completes "education." But schools and society have never treated your child as a person; they only see them as a target, a score, or a replaceable part. As a result, those originally cheerful, optimistic, and spirited children are gradually losing themselves through repeated suppression, trimming, and discipline, becoming numb and obedient, like puppets at the mercy of others, ready to be placed at any moment. By the time they are exhausted, the state and parents turn around and tell them: you need to have the ability to support yourself in old age, you need to carry the future of your parents. Systematically depriving children of the possibility of becoming "whole persons," while demanding they bear the heaviest and most mature responsibilities. This is not education; it is a legitimate, long-term, collectively accepted plunder.
