Recently, I have been delving into Walrus's token architecture. Compared to traditional storage coins like Filecoin and Arweave, there are indeed many innovative ideas in its logical approach. WAL's role is not limited to a means of payment; it also integrates staking functions, governance rights, and a destruction mechanism. This multi-dimensional design gives the token itself a stronger ecological carrying capacity.
Compared to established storage projects, Walrus has clearly put more effort into its economic model. The staking mechanism can enhance network security, governance participation gives the community a voice, and the destruction feedback directly supports the long-term value of the token. This combination is definitely more advanced than a single payment model.
Interestingly, a major exchange has recently been emphasizing the infrastructure track frequently, while storage has long been underestimated. If you carefully analyze the subdivided directions, you'll find that projects truly solving data storage needs will eventually move from obscurity to the spotlight. Moreover, it doesn't necessarily have to rely on hype from public chains; focusing on doing storage well in this niche can also support considerable growth potential.
