Everyone is betting on whether the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency will collapse. If it does, who should it be pegged to? Initially, American elites wanted to replace the dollar with Bitcoin, so Bitcoin was driven up to $100,000. Later, someone calculated that if Bitcoin replaced the dollar, it could be driven above $500,000. Southern countries in the world did not agree, with countries like South Africa, India, East Asia, and Brazil recognizing gold. Gold became a store of value. Later, this influenced more countries to increase their gold reserves. Coupled with international tensions, this led to a short squeeze on gold. World trade conflicts further accelerated the squeeze on non-ferrous precious metals. The next step is that all resources will become targets for capital hunting.
