Last night, I learned a powerful lesson.

There’s a little boy in my estate I often buy things for. Yesterday, I saw him holding two apples and asked if I could have one. He immediately ran inside. I felt hurt. I thought, “Even him?”
A few minutes later, he came back with wet hands. He had gone inside to wash the apples for me and offered me both to choose from.
Sometimes we judge too quickly. What looks like rejection might just be kindness in progress.
