John Deere is set to unveil SmartDetect Assist at ConExpo 2026, a new object-detection technology that automatically slows and stops machinery when it detects a human or object. This system enhances safety by providing operators with high-resolution camera and radar views of surroundings, alongside projected reverse path lines for improved situational awareness. Deere and Wirtgen will showcase 24 machines across two exhibit spaces at the upcoming event.
